EIC Call for Papers 2009 Electrical Insulation Conference Held biennially since 1958, the 29th Electrical Insulation Conference (EIC) will be at the Hilton Montréal Bonaventure in Montréal, Québec, Canada, 1–3 June 2009, sponsored by the IEEE Dielectrics and Electrical Insulation Society. Abstracts of up to 500 words are invited on the practical applications of electrical insulating systems and materials (including nanodielectrics); diagnostics, including field use, for all types of electrical and electronic equipment. At previous Electrical Insulation Conferences these applications have included: • Rotating machines • Variable speed drives • Transformers • Cables • Outdoor insulation (including live line work) • Aerospace • Switchgear (including arresters) • Capacitors • Refrigeration • Printed circuits & wire harness It is expected that most papers will be presented in oral sessions.
